How Do You Flourish from Vulnerability? is a collection of one-on-one conversations with designers and educators in the graphic design industry. With this question, I explore how we — designers, as a community — embrace vulnerability and grow from it. In a world where people put on these perfect designer guru personas, I often witnessed constant ups-and-downs within the community, and questioned: how can graphic design be more supportive and genuine?
As I delve into this question and engage in conversations, the project becomes a journey of self-discovery in graphic design. I ask questions: Who are you? What are you interested in? and What do you want to talk about? In the end, these questions circle back to understanding who we are.
